The colors as of now have not changed too much in the area where this hike was to take place. Steve, the event leader, will let us know when the area is colorful so keep checking back on line!
This will be a 3 mile hike with about 300' of climbing. We should see some excellent colors. We will car pool up to the trailhead North of Cascade Creek from Purgatory. Please carry one hiking pole for this adventure. Exposure is limited. Please bring water, snacks and rain gear. Good light hiking boots or shoes are also recommended. We will maintain appropriate social distancing during the hike and any breaks. We should be finished by noon.
Meet in the parking area at the entrance to Purgatory Resort at 9:00AM on September 24th. 2 well behaved dogs OK. Total allowed will be 10 plus the dogs. Please RSVP.
