We typically read one book per month and always have good discussions.
All are welcome to join the book club. The club is planning a zoom meeting in January. If the group is small, the host may decide to meet inside at her home allowing for social distancing and with masks. She will make sure all those that are signed up would be comforable meeting in person. Thank you for being mindful of your fellow members.
The book for January is Lincoln in the Bardo. Google summary: Lincoln in the Bardo is a novel based on the true story of the death of William Wallace "Willie" Lincoln, a son of U. S. President Abraham Lincoln. In 1862, Willie Lincoln died of typhoid fever ar the age of 11. The novel opens in the bardo, which is an intermediary state between life and the afterlife.
The book for December was Marley. Participants will also discuss the December book.
