Please join NAV for the first North Animas Village Travel Talk! This is a special two-part series in which two NAV members will be speaking to their travel experiences and sharing pictures and stories from their time abroad.

 

Marilee White will kick off this series with a talk about her travels to Uzbekistan. Many years ago, Marilee became fascinated by the Silk Road and began traveling to countries along the ancient trade route. Tying in her vast knowledge of history, Marilee will give a fascinating talk (accompanied by her photos) that speaks to the importance of Uzbekistan in the global political economy to this day.
