Please join NAV for an extra special Thursday event!

 

This is a two-part event; you are welcome to join for the morning hike, the noon wine tasting at Sutcliffe Vineyards (https://www.sutcliffewines.com/), or both! 

 

The morning hike will explore the Canyon of the Ancients trails. We will meet at 9:30 am at the parking lot of G Whil Liquors (24001 Rd G.2, Cortez, CO 81321) so that we can drive to the trailhead together. There are a few different trailheads, so driving there together allows us to not get lost!

 

We will begin hiking at 10:00 am, hike at a leisurely pace until 11:30, and then head across the street to Sutcliffe Vineyards for a wine tasting. Sutcliffe is a very special place, a beautiful winery nestled into the red rock of McElmo Canyon.

 

They recently acquired a pizza oven so if you are planning to attend and would like a pizza, let Hannah know ([email protected]) so they can make sure to prep enough dough. Participants will cover the cost of their wine tasting and pizza/charcuterie. Wine tastings are between $15-$20 and a freshly baked pizza costs $20 and will feed two people.
